Impact CasingMicromort is a precision rocket launcher, which are rated D-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic tiering spreadsheet https://linktr.ee/TheAegisRelic as there's no real reason to pick over other rocket archetypes with higher base damage. The frame intrinsic offers intrinsic tracking after locking on while ADSed, but only ×0.85 of the damage Adaptive or Aggressive RL subfamilies as per the https://www.destiny2.science/ Destiny Data Compendium. By comparison with its peers, the stats are good - you can see at https://d2foundry.gg/w/602331466 how the weapon stats impact in-game performance. With the tracking rocket, you'll want to use Confined Launch as the barrel perk, to reduce Velocity - that way there's more chance of reacquiring a target if it moves about. For the magazine perk, Impact Casing increases overall damage by ×1.022. While precision rocket launchers are never going to be meta for damage, for a burst damage roll, you could use Bipod in the second trait perk column to increase ammo reserves by 5 and double the magazine size, with the penalty of -20 to Blast Radius and Reload Speed (-15 to Reload Speed when enhanced) and a reduction in damage to ×0.75. In the first column, Reconstruction's passive refill will take you to 4 in the magazine, or Clown Cartridge to 3 on a manual reload. Or, for extra damage and using the small Blast Radius to reduce the spread, Cluster Bomb releases 8 bomblets on detonation, each with a 4m AoE explosion. There's the choice of two origin traits - Nail, Meet Hammer grants ×1.08 damage against shields, and an additional 8% Heavy Ammo progress when initially breaking the shield. Alternatively, Hakke Breach Armaments passively boosts damage against vehicles by ×1.15 (×1.2 when enhanced), turrets and constructs by ×1.3 (×1.6 enhanced) and Stasis crystals by ×1.45. Recommended MW: Handling - if you get Velocity or Blast Radius do not Masterwork - with your preferred choice of mod to boost weapon stats, ammo generation, or elemental pickups for builds - and don't forget to check any available seasonal fragile mods.
