Pro Memoria is an aggressive LMG, which are rated B-Tier for endgame PvE by @TheAegisRelic Endgame Analysis Spreadsheet, who says "best balance of DPS and total amongst LMGs, stagger intrinsic good". The frame intrinsic offers built in Anti-Unstoppable, but no other benefit as per the Destiny Data Compendium. The recoil direction is just to the right of vertical but pretty tight so you could improve recoil control or look to boost Stability to help hit crits, or Handling if you can land your shots. In the magazine perk slot, perks that improve Reload Speed or mag size are the best available. For Strand synergy and clearing adds, in the first treat perk column Tear spreads ~4m AoE Strand Sever on a crit kill to reduce damage output to ×0.6 from enemies affected, or Hatchling spawns a Strand Threadling on a crit kill or three crit hits within 3s of each other. In the second column Frenzy boosts Handling and Reload Speed by +100 and boosts damage by ×1.15 for a refreshable 7.2s after being in combat for 12s - that's dealing or taking damage, or Collective Action boosts damage by ×1.2 after collecting an elemental pickup or throwing a Strand tangle for 7s, refreshable up to a maximum 12s. Finally, Dragonfly procs a 4.5m [weapon energy matching] explosion on a crit kill - this is treated as weapon damage so inherits damage boosts and also procs weapon effects and subclass fragments. Aegis ranks the Dealer's Choice origin trait as S-Tier - it provides an escalating bonus to super generation on a kill, depending on how many other Dealer's Choice weapons are equipped - this is the fastest way bar none to generating super energy. If you're interested, the name translates to "as a memorial" or "for a memory/ remembrance", and links to the ghost Targe reflecting on his bond with Zavala. Recommended MW: Handling, with your preferred choice of mod to boost weapon stats, ammo generation, or elemental pickups for builds.

In the magazine perk slot, perks that improve Reload Speed or mag size work best for a boss damage roll. For a sustained damage roll, in the first trait perk column Envious Assassin overflows the magazine to up to ×3 capacity at 12.5% of base size per kill with primary weapons and 22.5% with specials during add phases before readying, or Reconstruction refills 25% of the magazine every 5.5s up to ×2 capacity when stowed or not firing. In the second column for damage, Elemental Honing grants an escalating stack of damage up to ×1.35 for 23s for each elemental damage type inflicted, which can be refreshed with a new damage type until you've run through all 5, when you're running a Prismatic build, or Bait and Switch boosts damage by ×1.3 for 11s for doing damage with your other two weapons. Alternatively, to use your overfilled mag, Target Lock stacks up to 5 times on repeated hits within 0.2s of each other for up to ×1.4 damage at 110.33% of base magazine capacity.
